Need help with pkgs

Having a problem with all pkgs files they install but don't launch afterwards throws an error. I don't know if this matters but it's freshly modded ps3

I got a fresh cfw and I just tried to install a few homebrew apps like RetroArch and a gba emulator and none of them came with a rap

they're probably outdated then. I don't use either, so I don't know what the latest is. they're using fself, so they don't need a rap. what cfw are you using?

Evalnat 4.88.2 know of a good website to grab any good homebrew that's updated I really appreciate your help there was no help from Google.

Really appreciate you will tell you how it works in a couple days it's my buddies console I put cfw on and didn't know what to do afterwards just was installing random pkgs mostly and none worked and thanks again.
