ROM Hack Need Help with layeredfs

I have been trying to get layeredfs working but I’m have problems. I have all the files in the right places but the mods don’t load. When I try and load a game with mods it crashes unless I hold down the L button. I been searching and reading some threads on here and I think I may have found the one problem. I am missing the override_config.ini file in the atmosphere/config folder. The folder is empty. Can someone tell me how to get the file.

I am on atmosphere 17.1 and firmware 10.2

Well, you're completely wrong.
It crashes because your mods are not compatible with this game (maybe only at specific version you're using). When you press L you're blocking loading mods, that's why game boots. override_config won't help you at all.

Ok thanks I have got some mods working by installing simple mod manager. But I have another question. I see a lot of threading talking about how to install mods but you know of a tutorial that tells how to create mods?

This is like asking how to install engine mods to car. From when each car can be approached in the same way? And from when each part can be installed in one way?

There is no universal answer. It depends on game you want to mod and what exactly you want to mod.

I am on atmosphere 0.18.1 with emmuc but can not get mods to work...
I have mod manager set up correctly and writing to "atmopshere/contents" but nothing changes in game..
Also I have no overuide_config.ini in the actual config folder.
