Anyone here have a Steam copy of Street Fighter X Tekken? The game is on sale today for US $5.99 so I grabbed a copy but I can't seem to figure out how to get it to launch. At first I keep getting a Direct3D error. Then I noticed that the game never made a "SFTK" folder under "User name"/Documents/CAPCOM so, I made a folder and stuck the Street Fighter 4 "config.ini" file in there for shits and giggles. The game now loads but to a black screen. Anyone have the config.ini file for this game? It should be in "User name"/Documents/CAPCOM -maybe that will help my issue.

EDIT: Managed to get this game running but apparently I cant use the online mode? Games for Windows Live is dead if I remember correctly. Is there another recommended way to play this game online?

Dude just update to latest direct x and your graphic card too.
Make sure you install Microsoft visual c ++ for all vision and don't forget to install dot net program for all vision too. If you want play this game on online, make sure you have this game install on steam cloud and make sure you already membership on steam cloud too.
I hope this can help you dude.

I actually got the game up and running on the day I made the thread. I just copy/pasted the settings in from Ultra Street Fighter 4 over to this game. As for drivers, graphics related software, etc, my PC has all of that updated. I just now need to figure out online play and I'm good.

Do you already try steam cloud for online play?

If the steam version is actually the games for windows live, that is sad. I guess maybe a patch is required somehow? Also i didn't know people still play this game or would buy it. But you did say is on sale, so $6 i can see that why you got it. :D

To be honest, while maybe not many agree, the playstataion version is best, simply cause exlusive characters and cross play with vita. I doubt online play would be bad but least it works period. :P

Maybe look at steam community or find a online mode patch?

Online play is dead. It's GFWL and the devs never patched it to use Steamworks for online play instead.

If you have an account that was created before the GFWL service was shut down, then you can use this patch http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=649186874 to play. If you don't have an account created before shutdown, then you can't play online.
