need help softmodding xbox

i feel like ive done everything ive read, and my run linux savegame still wont show up. im using a sub to xbox converter i made, and the usb has already been formatted by the xbox. my xbox is the updated version, im using the right kind of copy of mechassault, and im using xplorer360.
any help would be so awesome

So the USB appears as a memory card to the xbox but it is not showing up in game? In most cases this is because you did not copy the saves properly -- there are usually two files and unless you deliberately copy both files (as in go into the individual saves for the same) then you tend to only copy the one.

use https://www.horizonmb.com/ or http://fatxplorer.eaton-works.com/ for moving content on drives securly and with proper hash info

well its the original xbox. do those ftp tools work for OG xbox?
