Hello guys !

Following the great advice and the link at of the noob guide in the top posts, i ordered the R4i gold plus (more exactly : R4i,RTS, 3ds/ds, gold, +) to use with my brand new 2ds xl.

I followed the noob guide to install bootstrap9 etc., and everything went well.

My question is even more noobesque : where do i find a kernel that works ? Can anyone make a little tutorial to explain what files you have to download, where to find them, and how to setup the card properly, just to be able to access its menus and launch roms ?

The first kernel i tried (following the thread at R4town) does not boot the card, i only get black screens.

Then i tried to put the newest wood kernel, and it worked somehow, i could access a menu, but my .3ds games were not recognized and i could not launch them...

Please help !

Thanks a lot in advance,

Barbazoul

.3ds games do not work on R4i carts, you need the overpriced sky3ds and stargates

Oh i see ! Seems i got it all wrong ! But i can use homebrew apps, and for example convert .3ds in cias with Godmode, and then play directly on the 3ds, right ? Then i need more space than the 4 gb of the original sd card...

If so, i made a mistake : i did the whole noob guide (installing boot9strap etc.) on the starting 4gb sd card from the 2ds. If i just drag and drop from the smallest sd card to the biggest, will i have to start the guide all over ?

for .3ds we use homebrew launcher. If you want to upgrade to bigger SD, just copy everything.
