Hacking NDS randomly shuts off

I bought a new battery but it keeps happening.Also it seems to randomly turn on as well.I've opened the system but nothing seems to be wrong. Anything you guys recommend that i check inside while I'm at it ?

I got the same problem with my other DS Lite, i've searched quite a bit, and read that it often is due to "micro cracks" in the motherboard right under the "ABXY" buttons (if it shuts down after pressing one/some of the buttons)
that would be quite hard to fix.
It may also be something with your F1/F2 fuse, but i doubt it, as you can atleast power it on.

( a blown fuse can be fixed, if you follow this guide )

Mine would randomly shut off too, I stuffed bits of paper towel inside and it never happened again.

ugh i can't seem to put the NDS power switch back into place. What exacley does the switch turn on in the ds ? Is it that rectangular small box?

That happened to my DSLite, then the hinge snapped entirely...

And the 'micro-cracks' theory seems to be quite likely, it always happened when I pressed B too hard...

However I replaced the case, and since then it has only happened once...
