hi
i've been using NDS adapter plus for long time

now , after several month from formatting my PC , decide to install the driver
windows 7 64 bit
after i tried , i remember i have to restart my PC to Disable Driver Signature Enforcement
just like this thread
http://www.pokedit.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=95&t=4308

so i did that
plugged my NDS adapter plus to the USB , but here what happened
i can't see "EMSLink" in the device manger to install the driver
what is also weird , i start to smell something burning , after 1 minute i touched the adapter to feel its really hot

the place of the burnout
is the ic it self

i don't know if that a piece of the plastic is melted on the ic or it was there from the beginning

i plugged it again after cleaning it with alcohol
now its not burning

thats what i call blast processing

lesson to all be careful when leaving cheap Chinese products plugged in over night, this could of been much worse
i put it for 2 minutes and this happened
i used it for 2 years with no problems

do you have any other replacement ?

also , its not cheap , it was more expansive then the r4i save dongle

i was talking about NDS adapter plus
its $40 when i bought it

Price is not the same as quality, let's face it the xbox 360 was pretty expensive when it was first released, but in my opinion the launch models where cheap crap and you would be lucky to get 2 years out of them........so using the term "cheap" in regards to build quality here.......it i buy a cheapo built set of headphones for £100 it doesn't improve how well made it is
