Well I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask, but does anyone know if there is a good copy of NBA Jam out yet to download? I believe it was released today so it may be early to ask, but still.

you can download it from walmart, block buster, moovie gallery, target, cos-co, sams, gamefly. they even throw in the original disc, box, game manual, and system update. whats more, the game plays in the disc channel without patching or cios. it plays so well, its almost like it was designed to be played that way.

Wow really thanks, golly gee wiz I didn't know discs went in my Wii and they were "sold" I thought I hacked my Wii just to play movies from a HD or play Homebrew games, but now that I received this little secret gold tidbit of info I can use my Wii the way it was meant to be used. Thanks GIANTPAIN oops i mean giantpune for inlighting me to the world of retail.

GameStop sells digital goods too. I just called and they have NBA Jam- it might take only fifteen minutes of your time to go out and download it!

I would say part of hacking, cause running a downloaded copy of a game requires a hack and for a hack to work you need a game to play so I'm asking if this game is out yet but it's probably not so I guess I'll just drop this for now.

The only thing I can find with Google and the NTSC info (NBA Jam USA WII-ProCiSiON) is a ton different links... all leading to the same torrent site that requires some kind of silly membership.

"Warez" is an internet term used to describe copyrighted software, game, film, music and data piracy.

* We DO NOT HOST or PROVIDE ROMs/WADs/ISOs; or link to websites that do contain ROMs/WADs/ISOs.
* Members may NOT ASK and MAY NOT PROVIDE INFORMATION or LINKS for and to places that provide ROM, WAD, and ISO files.
* Members may also NOT mention torrent or warez-containing sites or channels by name or otherwise.
* We do not condone piracy in any way.
* Please go elsewhere if you only wish to download or share illegal files. The GBAtemp Forums are for discussion ONLY.

These rules also apply to other "warez" too, not just ROM, WAD and ISO files; this includes (but is NOT limited to) - licensed and copyrighted software, code, movies, music, video games, magazines, comics, e-books, television shows, illegal torrents, etc. These rules also account for "keygens" and "cracks" including how to obtain, apply or install them.

So, may I ask which rule was broken?

koji2009 did by supplying names. Read the bold and underlined.

there is nothing wrong with giving the file name. this site does track scene releases you know. look at the front page. as long as you don't mention where to find said files then it's all gravy.

I dont believe posting the names is against the rules, I'm pretty sure Gbatemp post the names in the Scene Releases. The only post i consider slightly breaking the rules is post #14. but thats just my interpretation of the rules.

LOL wtf seriously. You're right. But GBAtemp themselves are against their own rule then. File names are for use on websites, which is against the rules as show above.

This thread is officially full of win.

Against piracy my ass, when you publish releases there's something really funny here.

They never said they were against piracy, just that they don't "condone" it. Fine legal distinction there.

That being said, this thread is in the wrong sub-forum at the least, and should probably be locked anyway.
