Hello, i looked online for a way to play all my wiiware and vc games on my usb and assumed that i could use the usbloader Gx's wad manager to play these games on the usb as emu-nand but without having any knowledge of emu-nand beforehand. I recently read this thread https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-do-i-get-usb-loader-gx-to-properly-utilize-emunand.437521/ thinking i could simply play these games using a dumped nand however I am unsure if this requires emunand or if they can be played without it.

I want to play all of these games on my Wii but i dont have enough filesize to download them all and i cannot play them on my sd after i reboot the system, if i can play them on my usb like everything else but separate from the ones already on my Nand(I am doing this to save space on my internal hdd and to have full access to all the games i have already in wad format)

if i really do have to dump my nand id like to remove all of the channels that will be duplicated from my primary nand is this possible?

Yes, the real nand is just a starting point, you can remove stuff freely from the emunand (using a little logic... but the worst you can do is having to throw it away and starting over from a nand backup)

i have a nand backup on my sd card will this work or does it have to be dumped from usbloader directly?

As long as you have both nand.bin and keys.bin, you should always be able to extract that block-level backup into a file-level backup, using a program like ShowMiiNand - however I'm quite a bit rusty on the actual emunand setup, as Sneek was a pain to setup back when it was new so I just stopped caring for whatever new solutions there are ^^_

i was able to get rid of duplicates with the uninstall menu of usbloader gx so i dont need anything else, i used modmii to download uneek+di and am able to run all the emu-nand games i have
