N64 Console Help

Hello all
After i felt like playing the old N64 again i borrowed one from my friend with 12 games.
The problem is his console didnt run since 2003 and each time you start the console up it runs the game for a bit and then the game suddenly resets or just turns off and sometimes it wont run at all.

I tried the classical method to blow into the cartrige and play again but the same result.
Cleaned the cartrige input and everything that was dusty and same results.

Any help or sugestions what could be wrong? Thanks in advance

Sounds like faulty capacitors.

well i cleaned the cartrige input and all conectors with 70% alcohol works for now
the console didnt shut down it just restarted

could be psu or caps.

the cartrige input probably oxidated a bit since the console wasn't in use for about 13 years works like a charm now asked too soon as it seems
playing for a while now no issues yet
