Hardware n3DS XL ABXY board

Hi friends,

Most of the times my A button doesn't work.
So I ordered a new membrane pad.

As it took a month to arrive from China, I bought a 2nd hand half-3DS for parts.
I swaped the ABXY board.

The console doesn't turn on! wtf...
I checkd everything, and I noticed the board revision is different.
Mine says RED-01 and the other one says RED-02

Does it makes any difference, or is the new board is eventually faulty?

did you by any chance find out if it makes a difference?, mine says it's a RED-02 and the only one a could find is RED-01, they seem to be out of stock everywhere.

Could be either way, if it doesn't detect it (being faulty) or incompatible. search for one that it's for your 3DS model, even if there's 2 boards that were used for that model, both should work i think.

I'm looking for a N3DSXL abxy board too, and it's an impossible mission!
Even in alibaba all sellers are out of stock.
However, N3DS abxy board are cheap and available everywhere
