Hey everyone, I got a little problem
my FireLink 16G flash card is doing some funky things
I updated the firmware to MK5 firmware from NeoFlash.
Now i notice that when i transfer a save to the emulator on my computer
instead of using the save I sent it overwrites it and makes a new one.
I made sure the save type was correct and everything but it just doesn't work.
Also when i send a .sav file over to my brothers FireCard it does the same thing unless I
also send the rom that the save was from, it can't use his rom even though I ripped them
from the commercial game myself ,they are copies of the same file!
I have also noticed that on the game Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon that even when I delete
the .sav the game is still at the same point when i load the rom.
It's almost like the card is writing the saves to the rom itself rather than to the .sav file.
can anyone tell me what's up?
should I get a new firmware, and if so which one do you recommend?
This is driving me crazy.
