Hacking My DS doesn't save time and date at its boot up!!!

Hi, every body!
two days before, when I turned on my DS, it booted up as the first booting time. it wanted me to set the setting again. i set them up but.... unfortunately, it didn't save any input parameters!!! i'm so depressed!! plz professional experts help me. it was a gift. Oh my God!!

Internal battery has probably run dry. Maybe if you open it and try to replace it hmm...

i opened it!!
it flashed in my mind too,but there was NOT any thing looking like internal battery.

anyway thanks for your reply!

If you take out the battery of the DS then you have to do the settings. There aren't any internel batterys in the DS.

i turned it on while it had its battery charge on maximum!!!
it was a an affordable one but as i turned it on, i faced with the f.u.g.g.i.n' problem!! it changes to BRICK now!!

Odds are you broke something when you opened it and messed around, likely the screen ribbons.
