I LOVE IT! Definitely picking it up!

If you like this, you'll definitely gonna like Fractured Soul.
It's avaiable on e-shop, it's the biggest game there with 350MB, surpassing a little NSMB2.
It's difficulty consists in something that I never really saw before.
A quite different gameplay that sometimes mess with my mind.
We use the 2 screens for the game, and R or L to switch your body from one screen to another in the exact same position.
It's like playing on 2 dimensions connected. And it gets even harder when there is phisics change when switching screens,
like in levels when bottom screen is normal and top screen is water, or when using ice platforms and strong breezes,
or even harder, changing gravitation between screen.
Here is the trailer of the game:

I've heard about Fractured Soul. It's definitely on my eShop wishlist. lol
There is a similar game for DS called Chronos Twin (I think).

When you say complete 100% you mean get all 40 water crystals?
Cause I did it and felt it too easy, I expected something more chalenging and long.
Guess I'm playing too much VVVVVV
All crystals and all diamonds.

Btw, is VVVVVV really that good and challenging? I've been meaning to give it a go. :D

I did that, when I beated the game, I beated It 100%.
I didn't even had a opportunity to play for real with granny.

About VVVVVV, it's an outstanding game.
The player levels turn the game very very long.
About the difficult, I would put it in that increasing order:
Megaman Clasic Series -> Contra: Hard Corps -> VVVVVV-> Fractured Soul -> Battletoads in Battlemaniacs
The VVVVVV is a game that consists on some medium parts
and some super intense parts. Beating the game isn't that hard,
but beating the game 100% will give you a hell of a trouble.
It's even harder if you try beating player levels.
Here is a example of intense gamplay on VVVVVV:

I remember making it through that part after at least 50 tries and landing on the left side of the divider block. So much rage.

That happened to me some times :D

I've played the Mutant Mudds demo, but to me it doesn't seem like it's worth £8.10. The graphics and music are great for the nostalgic, but I'm having a hard time with the slow movement and lack of excitement in the game. The demo also gives no indication of a story, and the fact that there are a lot of levels with increasing difficulty only makes me fear that I just don't have enough free time to play through it amid all the great games I own and have pre-ordered with barely have enough free time to play through. I had severe buyer's remorse after purchasing Mighty Switch Force, and that was much more reasonably priced. It is also a good game, but just not enough fun for me to keep going back to over and over.

All that being said, I think it's great when developers release free updates to make their games more appealing.

...It's a platformer. It's not supposed to have a good story.

It's an OK game: really, really reminded me of Amiga platformers which aren't really my cup of tea (versus Japanese platformers).

I never said it was supposed to have one, I was just saying the lack of story in the demo adds to the reasons I'm having trouble getting into the game.

Yeah, I was going to say it reminds me of my old Amiga too. I liked a few (like Walker and Dizzy) back in the day, but it's not my favourite retro style either.
