Hacking Multiman keeps crashing

Everywhere I launch multiman it starts loading the icon and then crashes to the XMB. I suspect it has something to do with loading all the thumbnails for my PSX/2 ISO's but I can never turn off thumbnail loading before it crashes. Any advice?
