I'm trying to install Police Quest on my Windows Vista PC, but it when I give the installer a directory to install it in, it won't find the directory.
DOSBox has a similar problem CDing. It will not find the directory that is already made, yet it will mount it.

Command Prompt does not do this.

No, it does not have to do with my Google Search Results Redirect Virus; it did this a long time ago when I was trying to get Wolfenstein 3D, Duke Nuk'Em 3D, and DOOM installed on my PC.

And yes, I'm sure that I'm using the commands correctly.

I don't know about your CDing problems, but ScummVM has support for AGI (Adventure Games Interpreter) games like Police Quest.

Yeah, I'll try that out if DOSBox won't work.

But I still need to be able to CD (change directories) and give the program a place to install Police Quest in. I need this fixed first.
Remember that this also happens to DOSBox.

Ok; I supposedly got the game to install (it only spat out two files after closing the SETUP window immediately) by creating the directory first.

But DOSBox still won't let me CD into it.

run it using VirtualPC... there... you can run old games there.. specially DOS games without any problems.

No; I need to be able to get that CD command working.
I'll try it, but I still need that fixed.
