Hacking Motion+ suddenly stopped working for homebrew apps

I've been regularly playing using a USB loader for the past two years and hadn't had any issues with it, until last night. While I was playing SSBB with a friend, my remote (with motion+) suddenly stopped working during the game while his remote (without motion+) was working perfectly fine.

From that time, every time I open up a homebrew app my remote is just not working, although the buttons do work. Updated to the latest version of homebrew but had no luck.

I hate to suggest the obvious "try another remote," but if it stopped working mid-match, that's probably it.

Double check that you're using IOS 249. I'm pretty sure that's the one you should be using.
