Guess it's time for "Operation TriGfall" eh? Which sounds like a math semester for some reason (trig?).

Really? No localization?
I don't see why not... the game is already translated, like Xenoblade... but we are talking about capcom this time... no NoA.

think on how monster hunter did on the PSP

Japan love, monster hunter, you will be able to find someone playing it, where ever you go, for the most part, in Japan

west, not so much
you will be lucky to find someone playing it when you out

they MAY do a vita version in the west, of Monster Hunter, of some kind

I really hope this gets released outside of japan. Monster Hunter is such a good series

The Wii version of Tri only had an announcement of western localization 2 - 3 days after it was released in Japan. I really hope capcom localizes this awesome looking game, especially when they've already done it with the Wii version.

I hope they add a monster health bar cause it can be frustrating to land constant blows to a monster and think that it is weakening only to not see it limp away...

That's why this game has a deep learning curve. Not only do you have to learn each individual weapon, but you have to have the ability to read signs of when the monster is weakened. It also makes you not think twice before using your items. You could be low on health and hesitate to use the last HP potion. You use it and see that it only needed one more blow to be weakened and then you get frustrated. It makes you think critically about what you carry and how to use it so you don't abuse it. I'm glad there's no HP bars.

---------------

The only complaint I have about the new MH3DS is that it has an auto lock system. I hope that the auto lock system isn't good so it forces people to learn after they understand how the game works from using it. I don't see how the auto lock system would work since there are so many different hurtboxes to go after. For example, some creatures with a head that cannot be penetrated at all.

I hope there's a way to add a keyboard feature in the game as well. That would be sweet. It'll be too hard to type every message out through the touch pad.

Edit: Now that I look more into it. The auto lock is just for camera angles I believe.

I think it would just help you turn in that direction and then you click it off. Hopefully there is still a touch camera control. (just move it with your finger)

The good thing about having no health bar, is that it less distraction between you and the monster you are fighting.

We didn't even get Portable 3rd so I couldn't really see Tri G getting localized, unless Portable 3rd HD turns into a Vita title and then I can definitely see Capcom staying on track and throwing Tri G over here.

Something felt off about Tri as a Monster Hunter game and I wasn't a big fan compared to the others. Not because I hate the Wii or anything, it just felt off or something.

Nintendo going be pushing to get this localization because it's going be a game that will increase the 3ds sales.
Second Nintendo first party games going be pushing the 3ds to sell like hot cake and then Capcom is going be like "hmm we can increase our MH sales in the western region because of the 3ds sales..

i already like "boatles" 3ds controls

wonder why they didnt do something like rotate camera on boss in psp, or even make you select it like default when boss is in area...

English control instructions were at TGS.
Chances are looking better for an English release!

Suddenly capcom announces: this game will not be localized but will have multiple language and no region locking

Just kidding.

But an English manual? That's interesting.

They did: look at the images at the second image at the link, in the bottom right corner:

"Target Camera Lock-On"
