Hacking modifying virgin 2DS with B9S

I have a 2DS, but I don't have the parental pin code.

Last time I modded a 3DS, you needed to have the pin disabled, is this still the case? Thanks

Yes, if the system has a pin you need to disable it. You can use the pin "finder" or call Nintendo and have it reset. That is of course you are an adult of legal age.
You may need to update the firmware first though if its old.

Thanks. It doesn't currently say anything in the guide about disabling the parental controls at all, though....

Ture, but back in the past this was the case. Do you really want a parental pin on your system is the question?
I wouldn't take the chance without a hardmod.
