I recently received my EZ-Flash Omega and I got inspired by this video by Makho to add an LED so I know when the SD is being accessed and when it is safe to shut down the console.



Gabriel Daniel suggested in the comments for a different placement of the LED:
It seems it would be better to connect the LED inverted, with the positive side connected to Vcc and the negative side to the data0 pin, since the data line is normally pulled up when not operating. That way the LED will only light up when the SD card is being read or written to, and would be easier to see in my opinion.

Can confirm this is the way it should be done. Also use a 220ohm resistor or something close to it, as long a your led Vcc is (2.4-3.3v) it should work. BUT make sure to read the datasheet on your led. Do not use a led that has more than 100pf capacitance, or an led that has an input voltage higher than 3.3. High capacitance LEDs might cause current spikes from the data line and corruption to the SD card. ...


So I build this different aproach.
