Bought a Sky3DS with a kingstone 8 GB from them. The "8 GB" card they gave me only held 1 GB of storage and I couldn't switch games with my Sky3DS. switched micro sd cards to an older 4 GB I had in an old smartphone and the Sky3DS worked perfectly.

Just a heads up. The Sky3DS cart did work absolutely fine and was delivered very fast though.

There's really no reason to almost ever buy sd cards with flashcards. They're just overpriced and slow (class 2/4). Or fake, apparently.

Please contact them first to see if it's a common problem or an isolated one. They could have received a bad batch and are unaware.

I did, they are insisting it's an issue with my 3DS and that I have to load the games one by one.... I did not have to do that with my Lexar 4 GB card I had laying around which was 3 years old btw...

Also, I don't mind using a class 4 card because my games only take around 7 seconds to switch :)

better buy on a retail chain store... like bestbuy\media martk, this kind of places..

amazon also ha warnings about fake cards..

Tech sites like Newegg and TigerDirect also take this sort of thing very seriously, although they may not be the best prices.

Then again, the best prices are usually reserved for fake cards.

Have you contacted them about it? You might get a replacement.

I've contacted them and they have stated that they order directly from kingston... Still a bit odd though. I have never had this issue buying a card at retail. They did offer an exchange though so that was nice.
