ROM Hack Question Mod Indie Games For Switch?

Is there any way you could mod games like Nuclear Throne or The Binding Of Isaac Afterbirth Plus or any other Indie game to get mods and also could you get Indie Games not yet released on Switch on the Switch like Terraria?

Look in this forum or do a search, there's some thread about Binding of Isaac modding somewhere. In general, yes, you can use layeredfs to alter/replace game files for modding.

And about second question - it depends on Engine. Forget about Unity, UE4 or custom-made engines. Some games made by GameMaker 2 can be replaced with f.e. Undertale.
