Hacking MHX.cia Broken save

I'd really want to backup my save as this game requires a lot of farming, but in SDF i get Broken save. Anybody know why? Is it because the game is Japanese? Is there a workaround? Thank you.

Are you looking in the ExData? If memory serves, MHX and Fantasy Life save to the system so the save data's stored there.

Thank you, done. So, is backing up the data in the SD and leaving it there safe? Or would you recommend storing it somewhere else after the export?
