Hello all!

I have a problem while trying to load Metroid Prime Trilogy on Wiiflow. The game loads and both Metroid Prime 1 and 2 work but when i try to play Metroid Prime 3 the game freezes at teh loading screen. WHat can be the problem. Even House of the Dead 2 and 3 work for me.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Maybe a bad dump, as the game is a DVD9 (dual layer) you probably have a problem with the part placed on the second layer (dumped incorrectly or not dumped at all).
It could be your Hard drive too, some users "fixed" dual layer problem by using NTFS.
is it FAT32 or NTFS? try doing a defragmentation.

It's Fat32. Smash bros is dual layer and it works fine, but i haven't played it that much.

Wasn't there a dump of the Trilogy without the 3d game, as it was already available as single download ?
Maybe that's why is not working for you.

I heard about that too, but i tried to verify the dump with Wii Backup Manager and it passed. Anyway, if it doesn't work then i'll just play the stand alone Metroid Prime 3 version.

I think there was an underdump (only the single layer), but if it was that one the Sha1 would have failed.

Could you try with another USBloader? (even if I doubt it will help).
You could try to defragment your partition.
Is your FAT32 using 32k cluster size or something else?

Some users who had dual layer usually working still had problematic games (Metroid Other M or Xenoblade freezing) and NTFS fixed it.

My bad man, it's not fat32, its wbfs. Should i format it to NTFS? What else should i do?

WBFS partition? or wbfs file on FAT32 partition?
WBFS should be fine, I never saw users reporting dual layer not working on WBFS partitions. (I have one, and all my dual layer games worked without freezes)

Maybe try a cIOS with another base (base57, or 38), or another version of d2x or hermes.
I don't know what to suggest you.
Maybe someone else will have an idea.

I think i'll just make a Fat32 partition with 32k cluster and see if i can also use dios mios to load gamecube games. Should i do it?

If you want to use DIOS MIOS, then yes it's a good idea.
It needs to be your first partition on the drive.
use wbfs2fat locatedin my signature to convert it (maybe some of your games are corrupted, you will need to delete them and redump them after converting to fat32. Wbfs format is not very good regarding data's integrity)

It might not fix your problem though. but at least, no other game will be corrupted without you knowing it.

I did that and the same problem happens. I was going to install the latest d2x but i messed it up. It's been a long time since i tried to do something like this. Now wiiflow sends me back to the wii menu when i load a game. I tried to install the latest d2x but it didn't work. WHat can i do now?

Just in case this is NOT sarcasm:
You deserve all the shit you get from publishers. You deserve even more shit than what you get... In fact, i go as far as stating that people like YOU are the reason we have to take up with so much shit from publishers. YOU are to blame!

In case this was sarcasm:
Yes

I got them on gamecube and the standalone metroid prime 3 on wii. I just wanted to test it, because House of the Dead 2 and 3 had the same problem and they work now. That was all. And yes, i do buy games for all my consoles :D

It was sarcasm. I don't really pirate many things. Mow, lets drop the topic before we start a flame war.
