Hacking Metroid Prime 3 door lag

Does anyone else get door lag in Metroid Prime 3? it takes my system around 5-10 seconds to open doors. I'm using cIOS38 rev14 and neogamma v7. I'm assuming buying a USB HDD would fix this?

Yeah its gonna have severe lag. If you get a USB loader it will run much faster, get a retail disc (if you don't have one, you shouldn't be doing this in the first place) it should run fast as well. USB is faster though. 3x, 6x and somewhere around 9-12x

Burned disc.

Then yea it's normal. Loading times in the prime series have been hidden by elevator sequences and door opening time. On a burned disc you will get twice as long of a loading time as a retail disc would to begin with and with a hard drive you should get nearly no delay.
