It should, yeah, since those were stored with the other files
If it doesn't, just restore the backup again after copying the files back
So if the games don't appear after I have copied all the files back, then I should repeat steps 6 and 7 of this guide, right? : https://3ds.guide/move-emunand

If I do have to restore the backup back to my sysnand, then do I still have to do steps 10-23 again and format the SD again?

Just step 6
No, you won't need to format the SD again

I have a problem. I am on step 19 of the "Moving Emunand" section. https://3ds.guide/move-emunand

The file backup for my emunand took over an hour because I had 22+ gigs of data on it. Now, I have backed up all the files onto a folder on my desktop like the guide tells me to do in step 10. I have followed the instructions and have formatted the SD card using GodMode9. However, I knew that putting all of the backed up files back onto my SD card would take another hour and a half. So, I decided to stop the process here and do it tomorrow. I simply went to the main menu of GodMode 9 and held R+START to shut off the system. But now, when I turn on my system, nothing happens. It is just a black screen. When I try to turn on the system without the SD card inserted, the blue power LED turn on for a second, then shuts off.

Since I formatted the SD card, the only file I have on it is "arm9loaderhax.bin". Did I just brick my system?? Or will the 3DS boot again after I copy all of my files back onto the SD card??

EDIT: Just to let you know, I haven't switched the "arm9loaderhax.bin" that was located on my SD after formatting with the "arm9loaderhax.bin" from my original backup (in fact, as I have said previously, none of the files from my backup are on the SD card yet. The only file on the SD card is the "arm9loaderhax.bin" after Formatting the SD with GodMode9)
You weren't supposed to backup the whole sd card , just your "emunand.bin" or whatever you wanna name it with a homebrew like emunand9 or decrypt9 , the files stays on your sd card , you're not supposed to touch them ,and when you restore your emunand to your sysnand (Section IV - Restoring the System) in that step you're supposed to restore your "emunand.bin" to your sysnand using hourglass9.

Yeah he was. He had an EmuNand, so the SD had to be formatted entirely to remove it
all that trouble to gain 1 Gb in space is worth it ? and you can always keep your emunand partition untouched on the SD card to either use it or to restore it someday if you lose your nand backup.

Hello, I'm currently running Luma 3DS CFW (v. 5.5 I think) through Menuhax. I am going to switch over to A9LH pretty soon and I am wondering if there are any extra steps that I need to take to back up my current (11.0) EmuNAND before following the Plailect guide. Do I have to make a backup of the EmuNAND before starting the process for A9LH?

System Info:
USA Old 3DS (xl): 9.2 SysNAND and 11.0 EmuNAND

I just did this the other day on Old 3DS. I didnt even back up anything. I took out my SD card that has the emunand and all saves etc... put in a spare SD card into my system. Did all the steps to get a9lh, after it was done I simply put in my original SD card it booted into the Luma no problem and everything works.

In my opinion, it's not worth trashing it, but the guide says to do it so.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Good news! I have successfully flashed my Emunand backup onto my A9LH sysnand! Since I already have DevMenu and FBI from my old Emunand, I do not need to follow Section V and Section VI of this guide for injecting FBI into Health and Safety, correct? : https://3ds.guide/installing-arm9loaderhax

Yeah, that last bit isn't necessary. You can use that SysNand exactly like you used your EmuNand :grog:

I have one final question. How is A9LH able to operate on the latest firmware? How is it safe to update the firmware without worrying if A9LH will be patched in the next update?
