@Reisyukaku created ReiNand, which was the first (one of the first?) 3DS custom firmwares. Credibility is not something that is lacking when it comes to Rei. Minor celebrity.

rxTools was the first free 3DS CFW that allowed for any fun. ReiNand succeeded that, and Luma3DS started as a fork of ReiNand. In other words, Luma3DS likely wouldn't exist without ReiNand.

So unless someone starts doing a mass CDN download from Nintendo, all we're really gonna be able to do with this is play Yooka Laylee...

You're assuming that it won't be possible to convert XCI cartridge dumps to installable NSP files.

There's no known way to do this publicly, but it should be doable in principle.

Rei might have something. I mean, if I were the person who made the CDN downloader and also the person who's making an NSP installer, and I had mad hax0r sk1lls, I'd probably have it. The screenshots in this thread alone imply at least a source.

I think you can dump eShop titles from your NAND if you're willing to do the work. Not user-friendly, but there are other ways of making publicly available dumps.

So far, Rei has not demonstrated any specific title being installed yet so we don't know if they have access to more .NSPs via some unknown method. But I do hope that Rei has something else to give this program a purpose.
