Gaming MBP, rEFIt, triple boot, and Snow Leopard

Basically, I've used rEFIt (if you don't know what that is, don't post) to boot 3 OSs on my MacBook Pro. I want to upgrade to Snow Leopard, but I'm worried if it will have an EFI update. And if it does, could that mess up rEFIt and my triple boot?

Also, does anyone know if there are any dirvers for Linux to use with my new 13" MBP? I can't even get the trackpad working, never mind the webcam, wifi, backlit keyboard, half the keys, the graphics card etc etc.

I might be able to help you. I don't have rEFIt installed but I am running Snow Leopard on my 2.53GHz 13" MBP. According to System Profiler, my Boot ROM Version is MBP55.00AC.B03. If this is newer than yours then Snow Leopard might have done a firmware update.
