Put it this way Mario Kart 8 is the only reason i own a Wii U. We play it 4 player split screen and the game could not be more fun, sure the framerate is bad but its still loads of fun.

We used to play 4 player Mario Kart Double Dash on a 15" 4:3 CRT TV back when i was in college

Mario Kart 8 is probably the best game on a Wii U, SPECIALLY (but not only) to play it on local multiplayer.
Ah... I think I will go play some cups.

PS: Yeah, probably if I didn't have the Wii U anymore this will be the only game I will be really missing.

Just bought the game and been playing all day with my girlfriend and.......

Mario Kart is always an essential, but Nintendo outdid themselves with this one. Just mind the frame rate if playing with 3 or 4 players locally.
