Mario Kart 3DS May Be Delayed Until 2012

I'm pretty sure it'll come out in late 2011.

That's not a problem. It doesn't make sense for them to release all the great games in one year. There is a whole bunch of games by Nintendo being released this year.

• Kid Icarus: Uprising
• The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
• Star Fox 64 3D
• Super Mario 3DS

And it also gives them more development time so we'll end up with a better game.

Aw man, I was hoping to be playing a new Mario Kart by the end of the year. Guess we'll see by E3, right?

Don't forget that Mario Kart DS came out a year after the DS did. I had a feeling that they were going to delay it. Though, if they DON'T delay it, I would be very, very, happy!

I think all this delaying of games is just a marketing strategy. It would be nice if we had some real choices other than Nintendo or Sony.

I wonder if this somehow has something to do with the servers and stuff. Like previous posters have said, it seems like Mario Kart 3DS is complete, but they're doing something to make it... better.

Better online would be outstanding.

I love every Mario Kart, from beginning to end, except Mario Kart DS. I hate Mario Kart DS.

Again? Seriously, because a date hasn't been set doesn't mean it's not coming in 2011.

They could very well announce it in october or november and release in december if theyw ant to.

I remember, same thing happened with Golden Sun Dark Dawn on DS. Near the end of 2010, people were like: "OMG, it has no release date yet, it's not coming in 2010."

Well, they were wrong, a date was set very soon after that and the game came out in 2010, a month or two after they announced the date.
