hi :P I'm new here, and tired, so I'm sorry if I've messed something up! I recently bought a copy of My Secret World for the DS from a second hand store. It's a diary game aimed at tween girls, I enjoyed the idea of using this random game as my actual journal so I bought it. When I opened it on my 3DS, there was an existing save file (last opened 26 December 2013), but I couldn't access it because I didn't know the 4 digit PIN or the security question. I tried a bunch of super common PINs (like 0000, 1234, 9876 etc) but no luck. I erased the file (my new diary is going strong, it's actually a fun little game), but before I did I saved a backup with Checkpoint of the original save. I'm curious if there's a way of getting around that lock, without just straight up brute forcing? Is there anything I could use to look into this more? Honestly I'm most interested in the process (if it can be done) than the actual diary.

Hi guys!! I’m releasing 3DS-CLI, a Nintendo 3DS homebrew app that boots a real RISC-V Linux environment inside the normal 3DS Homebrew Launcher. It uses mini-rv32ima by cnlohr as a compact RISC-V CPU emulator, with terminal output on the top screen and a custom touch keyboard on the bottom screen. Features Boots a RISC-V Linux image on real 3DS hardware through software emulation VT100-style terminal output on the top screen Custom bottom-screen touch keyboard D-pad sends arrow keys Includes a prebuilt Linux image with BusyBox tools, a JavaScript runtime, and CLI Doom Installation Universal-Updater: 3DS-CLI can be installed directly from Universal-Updater. Just search for 3DS-CLI and install it from there. Manual install: Download 3DS-CLI_Install.zip from the latest GitHub release Unzip it Copy 3ds-cli.3dsx and Image into the /3ds/ folder on your SD card Launch 3DS-CLI from the Homebrew Launcher Wait for Linux to boot. Making the 3ds screen ever dimmer than minimum brightness

Hi everyone my first time posting here. I usually like to play my n3dsxl at night without any external light source in my room and the lowest possible brightness is still too much for my eyes to handle. Is there a way to make the screens go even dimmer?

If your 3ds is hacked, you can use luma3ds and the rosalina menu to change the screen brightness (and I think screen temperature too). You get a lot more control than the stock settings.

Thinking outside the box, you can try sunglasses or nd / neutral density film.
Photographers use stuff like that in some situations to reduce the amount of light coming into the camera.
It would work to reduce the brightness of the screen.
