Hacking Make vWii stuff full screen?

Is there any way to make vWii channels launch in full screen? Some of the stuff I have launches in full screen like Snes9x GX but things like the Homebrew Channel and FCE GX launch in 4:3 and it sucks because my TV is kind of small. Is there any way to fix this? I dont even care if its not true 16:9, I dont really mind a stretched picture
