Hacking main.dol Mods for Wii Games

they are distributing illegal main.dol files that have been edited

Oh, I figured it was built from scratch if they were distributing it so freely. I have no idea what CTGP looks like, so for all I knew it was a crappy looking menu with printf.

The dol is modified, then replaced, if you look at the files, the stock dol is smaller than the ctgp one.

I see this old topic the first time now. My tools "wit" (Wiimms ISO Tools) and "wstrt" (part of Wiimms SZS Tools) can modify main.dol and also add new sections. My MKW-Fun distribution uses wstrt to modify main.dol at users side. And NSMBW Mod ISO Builder v1.00 uses the wit tool.

Sorry for the necrobump but does wstrt only work with Mario Kart or with other games too? I'd like to try this as a way to use cheats in Wii VC injects on the Wii U
