Haven't played MUGEN in a while, and even back then, I barely touched it. I mostly just tested it a bit. Apparently, the community is still quite active, and the creator died.

:'(

So to anybody that plays MUGEN:
Are the clones any good? Like ShugenDo or Infcat?

Hi-Res or regular?

Famous characters?

The creator really died?

Where does everyone get avatars like these:

well the creator (reubenkee) of the 1st evil ken and the awesome dragonclaw died in a boating accident he wasnt the mugen creator but a character creator.

I havent tried the ohter clones but only the windows port

That's sad.
I remember evil ken. I'm going to have to catch up with the community.

So....
Anyone want to answer my questions.

1) I dunno, never tried them. MUGEN is probably the best though.
2) I use regular, high-res doesn't do much more.
3) Evil Ken, God Ryu(?) and this guy called Takeshi (I think)
4) The creator of Mugen, I don't think, really died. But stopped due to some incident. I read it somewhere but I forgot when it was and where.

Might he have stopped due to the massive pending lawsuits due to IP infringement? Just a thought.
No, MUGEN is just an engine. The characters are made by other users.

And Elecbyte has disappeard and they haven't made any request or lawsuit on their product M.U.G.E.N.
