Hacking Luma v2.1 Updater help

I have b9s and luma 7.1 everything was great, then I just used the updater to download 8.0 and my 3ds wont boot with or without the sd card.

alright the updater is broken because of naming reasons , 7.0 will not boot with B9S 1.2 so you have to replace boot.firm with godmode9

PLEASE UPDATE BOOT9STRAP FIRST THEN UPDATE

little confused with how you worded it, the latest updater is broken on 7.1 so when i went to 8.0 it wont boot? i replace boot9strap with godemodes boot?

did you update b9s to 1.2

I have a problem, I did all the prep work, but since i already updated luma i need it downgraded so i can boot my 3ds again right?

nvm I did exactly that and it fixed the boot, ill try the update and report back.
