Hi all,

I am already a member since April 2009.
But I never introduced myself.

I'm mostly a forum "reader", so don't except many many posts from my side ;).
Well lets go.

I am Rik de Graaff, 20 years and live in Holland.
I love gaming on my Nintendo consoles (i.e. my 3DS and DSi).
Also I own a PS3, so that is the only non-Nintendo console, haha.

I don't have a job, because I can't work.
That's because I have Autism, and also a social phobia.
But I have therapy for my "problems".

I also love to build my own PC's, and have already made three PC's.
So I am spending most of my time on computing and gaming.

This was my story folks.
If you have a question, don't hesitate to ask it.
I hope to get some welcome messages here ;).

Have a nice day,

Greetz. Rik

Hello, and hum.. welcome again !

how efficient are the therapy? did it have any significant effect? if yes, how long did it take to see changes?
What couldn't you do that you can now?

Both thanks for your answers.
I didn't dare to go outside, I was always in my house.
I'm now 8 years at different organizations in therapy, but from the last 6 months, I make big big steps.
I can now go outside, make a phone call.
All on my own, so it is much better now.

Thanks again for the interest and messages.

6 months is a big step.
Are you in single therapy, or group therapy?
Sorry if it's not the best place to speak about that.

I can't make phone calls (even with family)
I can't take therapy, because I would need therapy to be able to go to therapy first... humm not easy
I can't go to shops
Though, I'm working with lot of people, which seems contradictory (but I don't have to make any first step to go to them)

in a way, my work helped me, little by little.

I'm in single, one on one, therapy.
I cannot work in groups.
3 people is already too much for me.

Well, I don't mind talking about it.
Only if you don't feel happy about it.
