Gaming laptops for birthday

17 inch screen is too big for a laptop. I would know. Im typing to you on one right now.
The vaio's stock HDD is the biggest, its got the most RAM as well.
The Vaio only has an i5 processor but thats still pretty good.

all i need to know is that can any of the 3 play modern games on them like modern warfare 1-3 007 blood stone bulletstorm and doom 3 because im taking it to work with me to watch movies and play a few games here and there and it get borning waitng for customers i work at a small one manned gas station so that is the reason for the laptop and of course wifi

Looking at the specs I would defently go with the Sony VAIO.

The toshiba is really bad. Even worse than my mom's 8 year old laptop.

EDIT: The HP Pavilion is hands down better if you want to play games.
The VAIO is a better machine for movies and everything else.

alright i consider the vaio as one of my top 2 choices but im also getting the protection plan to the 2 year accentidnal damage and handling plan that way if anything goes wrong my ass is covered and plus the one year warrenty from the maker if i just dont want to break the bank my parents are putting a 100$ towards what ever i buy than i would have to spend on the rest plus the protection plan

I've looked at a couple reviews which seem to suggest the HD 4000 scores better framerates than HD 6520G. Only 2-5fps, and I don't know if that's due to having a much more powerful CPU or not. Vaio still seems like the better choice of the 3.

First benchmarks position the HD Graphics 4000 (in a fast quad core desktop CPU) on a level with a dedicated Nvidia GeForce GT 330M and therefore above the AMD processor graphics Radeon HD 6620G. In our extensive tests with games the HD Graphics 4000 was able to beat the HD 6620G in a fast Core i7-3820QM by about 15%. In the slower i7-3610QM and a dual core i5 it was on a similar level as the 6620G.

Since the 6620G is a step higher than the 6520G, that just about says it all.

If you want an entry level laptop for gaming, I can point out that lenovo still sell their Y570 on lenovo.com (i5-2450 + GT555M) for 649$
