A tutorial of how to put it in Nintendo Switch ?

I put LaiNES.nro in /switch and where rom folder go ? in /switch also ? If so, I got black screen with message telling me to press power to shut it down. Confusion.

5.1 is working.

I checked on github release page, you can find the required ROM path :
Extract nro to sdcard:/switch/LaiNes/
Place ROMs in sdcard:/switch/LaiNes/game/
IMPORTANT for 1.4.0: place the res folder on the root of your sdcard or it'll crash.

Be sure you get latest release, the first post is linking to 1.1.0, not 1.4

Why 1.1.0 ? 1.4 is the latest release, isn't it ?

Is NESalize better than LaiNES ?

It's because the first post has not been updated (thread creator is not the developer).
I can edit the first post, add path info too.

NESalizer is the new LaiNES, from the same author.
he said it was too hard to debug LaiNES because he attempted to make a NES emulator in less source's lines as possible, making it harder to maintain.
NESalizer is the same core, but with easier to maintain source.
I don't know if one is better than the other, it's might just be easier to maintain for the developer. I think he won't update Laines anymore, he will focus on the other one instead.

Thank you kindly. Very useful information. Much appreciated! Then I will go with NESalizer. A tutorial ?

I didn't know Laines nor Nesalizer this morning, all the information I gave you I just read them from this thread, the other thread and all the changelogs.
everything is available, just not at the same place. I don't know if there's a tutorial for nesalizer. I didn't learn about it yet.

I understand and no problem. I will look into it. If I find anything and I would share it with you right here.

I updated the first post, added full changelog (which contains information for ROM path, and res path need to be moved to SD root).
I added information about nesalizer.

I did extract to sdcard:/switch/LaiNes And I put megaman.zip in sdcard:/switch/LaiNes/game or do I have to unzip it ?

Edit: I moved res folder on the root of my SD Card. Everting is working. Must be unzip roms as well. I hope that they will add .zip too.
