Hello all,

In the event that Kodi ever gets pulled from the official store front in the future you can grab the raw .APPX here of Kodi and sideload it in Dev Mode. This .appx will also comes in handy if you don't want to keep switching back and forth between retail and dev mode to access emulators and Kodi. This way you can have Kodi and all of your favorite emulators in one single mode. Enjoy :grog:

Download Nightly Builds of Kodi x64 UWP here

That's good to hear but nothing is ever set in stone. There is always a chance it could happen. In any case this will be useful for alot of users who want Kodi and all of their emulators in a single mode.

@wiired24 how did you manage to get the appx file? they dont have it on the windows store for the xbox one

@dominater01 One of our members directed me to where i could go to find UWP Builds for Kodi. They do nightly builds on their server. I went ahead and updated the OP to include the link for nightly Kodi .APPX Builds so everyone will always have access to the most recent Kodi builds

@wakabayashy @mech You're welcome. ^_^

Thanks for this. I was looking all night for a appx file for Kodi since it has been pulled from the store. Quick question, I have only recently started playing with dev mode and appx files. I installed Retrix in dev mode but I don't see it in retail mode. Is there a way to make it show in retail mode or am I just not looking in the right place?

No problem :)

So one of the drawbacks is that software you install for Dev Mode (RetirX in your case) is only accessible while in Dev Mode. For Kodi and Emulators you can switch to Dev Mode and then for playing retail games like Forza or Halo etc just switch back to Retail Mode. You can easily switch back and forth at any time.
