Hacking KH clean rom

Well tested it on latest touchpod and itouch with isakureal 1.7a and neither works. Looks like it has to be patched.

Not on Sakura on iSakuREAL. I had to hex edit the ROM.

We will have to wait for an update and for now use the hex edit.

They will probabley update touchpod first.
I wish the M3 Team will start updating sakura more...
Not updating their better firmware is kinda dumb.

GO GO M3 Team release an updated touchpod and sakura that can run kh ds.

How to manually hex edit KH rom:

1: Google and download a program called XVI32. This is the hex editor I used.

2: Open your KH rom.

3: At the top click address, then click goto, then click hexidecimal.

4: Type 010E5DC into the box and click ok.

5: The first block should be highlighted and have 0C in it.

6: At the top click edit, click overwrite string, click hex string, in the bottom box type 37.

7: Where it said 0C in the first box it should now say 37.

8: Click file, then click save.

9: Put the file you just saved on your flash cart and enjoy

Yes we know. The original question was would a clean rom work like on some other flashcarts. That has already been answered with no.

Hex editting the ROM shouldn't be much of a problem. Hex editting, at least in this case, is cake if you follow instructions.

yeah it was really easy. I cant believe that little got around the protection though.
