The spam protection sometimes is a pain. But it is the lesser of two evils. Trust me, nobody want bots that successfully created an account posting links in addition to their nonsense text.Ditto, trying to be able to post source links.
If a link is absolutely needed you can obfuscate it so the spam protection does not kick in.

or something like that.
After a few regular posts this limitation goes away.

It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid
