Hardware Just got wii back. wiikey help

ok, I just got my wii back and I havnt updated my wiikey at all. the wii hasnt been updated in a long time either. its version 2.2U. how should I go about making everything up to date? I dont want to mess anything up

Just update your Wii by MSG or so then run the dvd with Wiikey 1.9G update thats all.

So...what i did was this

1)update 1.9g
2)update 3.1u or whatever

but i didn't change any settings using the setup disc since I didn't need to. Am I now gonna be screwed...?

if your region free override was on before you did any updates, it will remain on even after you update, just don't load the config disc as it resets the region override to off by default
