Homebrew jenesisDS problem

So I played jenesisDS on my R4 card. Every rom seems to be working except for Sonic 3D Blast. It says Sonic 3D Flickies Island on the compatibility list. Do I need to rename it?

No as it has 2 names different regions

Also, unless you're running an early proto build, Sonic 3D Blast does not work with jEnesisDS, as the ROM is above 3MB.
You'll have to use PicoDriveTWL instead. If you're using TWiLight Menu++, then it should automatically be used by default.

Ok. But I don't have TWiLight Menu.

You can use PicoDriveTWL separate from TWLMenu++, though to run ROMs above 3MB, you'll need a DS Memory Expansion Pak.

hi i have clone R4 and using ysmenu, i can get the jenesisDS running, it sees all my roms but unable to play any games, it stucks at loading screen.
checking google i read we need to turn H-INT emulation ON ---> how?
also do we still need to DLDI patch for the .nds file in the latest version of jenesisDS?

already patched the jenesisds.nds with dldi following the steps, but still stuck at loading....

Make sure your roms have a .bin or .gen extension, if this is not the case rename them to .bin or .gen, also check that they weigh less than 3MB.

H-INT Emulation means "hardware emulation" the auto position does not work it is either "ON" or "OFF", I recommend that you activate it, to do so touch the icon of the small paddle with your stylus to access to the settings.



Finally, in the settings, make sure that the region chosen by the emulator corresponds to that of your ROM because this will prevent your ROM from starting (this is the case with the European version of the Adams family) to resolve this problem. Start the rom, go to settings, choose the region and restart your rom.

hey thanks. didnt expect someone will reply and help so quick!
okay some update. i have DSOne cart too and load some game on it, and it works!! no need to patch jenesisDS dldi, it just work.

so... same game/rom (.smd), doesnt work if using R4i cart. same device (DS Lite). micro sd card is fine because DS games are works
i cant access the setting because i can only get into loading screen (i think you can only access the setting after the loading screen) - tried with sylus didnt do anything)
edit: yes when using dsone i can access the setting (that is after the loading screen)
i will try to rename tomorrow to bin and probably redo the ysmenu again on r4i cart not sure if that will help
