Apple JailBreak Help

So my friend just got a new ipod touch 3g on 4.0 firmware model is an MC version but from what I read it doesn't matter much anymore so we tried comex jailbreakme.com thing and it came up with the "oops file received is invalid" error so idk what to do he really wants an untether jailbreak so anyone know how to fix this problem or a better way???

The jailbreak is down for now. Comex is trying to fix it.

Ahh but iOS4 doesn't support Spirit. Jailbreakme.com is even simpler as you just visit the side on your iPod and slide to jailbreak.

good thing i decided to jailbreak on it last week. it still shows up on my ipod though so i have no idea what you loonies are talking about.

When you slide to jailbreak it says "Invalid File"
