Now that's a good price for the iTouchDS. I paid $10 more at DX and I'm certainly a bit disappointed with it (for the money there are better options).

This is what it was supposed to be from the start...Budget cart with only basic options for low price...The price is much more reasonable now..Very nice news..

I was wondering if sakura will work with this "budget cart". If it does i may just buy it and upgrade the firmware to sakura, but it probably won't.

I was thinknig about the Itouch's name, does the cart offer alot of touch screen options and thats why they call it I"Touch". Or is it based on the Ipod? Or is it just a catchy name which draws people to buy it?

No, ItouchDS won't be supported by Sakura..
The name is made to imply using of the touch screen on the console..Cart itself doesn't offer any special options, but it has "favorites" section where cart reads only game icon, and list them, so it's a bit different from the other carts on the market..
It's a catchy name, I don't believe it is based on Ipod..

That's a tough call. I'd wait and see how the support for iTouchDS goes. So far, so good.

I'd give a nudge to the Acekard 2 since the R.P.G is open-sourced and you'll always have people working on that. That will trickle down to the 2.
