Your talking about an apple ipod touch, you have to jailbreak it first. There are plenty of guides, the easiest one uses just drag and drop the file into a folder.

Be aware that there is itouch slot1 which is this:

Seriously use the words apple ipod touch instead of the slang version itouch.

If you're talking about the iPod Touch/iPhone, there actually is an App that lets you emulate GBA roms. It's called gpSPhone. You'll find it on cydia, which means you have to be jailbroken.

Better suggest a jailbreak tutorial then. I tried jailbreaking my phone and it got bricked.

I've used an emulator like that on my daughter's iPhone. It's cool, but the controls for the emulator are right on top of what you're supposed to be looking at. I'd have to suggest using a Nintendo DS and an EZ-Flash 3in1 or an iPlayer. Either device is kind of better for this kind of thing anyway. You won't even need to mod your device for it. It simply takes a flash cart (or if you use the iPlayer, an emulator) and maybe a 3in1 if you don't happen to have the iPlayer. Great thing to do though.
