Hello,

I got my 'jig' yesterday and I wanted to backup my NAND.

When I insert the 'jig' into the right rail and then hold Volume + and press Power, from a shutdown switch, nothing happens at all. The console screen stay off and my computer does not notice any new device.

Any idea ?

Might not be a USB 3.0 port. If trying a 3.0 port doesn't work, to make sure you're in rcm mode, plug the switch directly into the ac adapter it came with. Also, how are you sending over the payload? OS, program etc.

The USB3 ports are blue. They have blue on the inside, you'll see it.

Like, the rectangley flat part with the pins will be blue.

Yeah, I used the front usb on my case that is USB2. While reading the tutorials about entering RCM, I totally missed the part where it says that it must be USB3.

Thank everyone. I'll try later tonight.

....oh.

There's usually SOME indicator on there though. Mine are blue, and they are labeled SS-[usb symbol thing]

This means your Switch has likely entered RCM. The problem has something to do with your computer or the connection to your computer.
