5.3.2 is the last version with a PoC WebKit exploit at this moment (public or 0day). No kernel exploits have been patched to this date as they are all still 0day.

it's currently working on 5.3.2 their working on getting it to work on 5.4.0 than they'll prob release it after that. fortunately it'll prob be too late for me i'll have X by than and whatever update it has is going on my wiiu.

Yes and no, yes, they are working on the exploit so it works on 5.4.0, but unless you're desperate to playing online or the latest game, don't go past 5.3.2.
