I am looking for some R4's to buy from http://www.volumerate.com/details.vr/sku.1202 but I'm not sure if it is legit. I don't want to lose money if I'm going to purchase from this site. Does anyone know if its legit?

It's legit, they are dealextreme but for wholesale orders, and products that can't be sold on Dealextreme like the R4, Modchips and stuff

the first statement is opinion. the r4 is a great kit that allows for the playback of nds games and homebrew with very high compatibility. however the ak2 is a wonderful kit and the price is usually under 30$.

If anything, the R4 is arguably the best cart for homebrew. It's the most popular (by far) so there's a lot of support there.

They're only good for when you're ordering more than 3 of the same product. I haven't tried them, but a few people told me they were ok, but certainly not great.

Also, R4 was once great, and it's still good for basic roms and homebrew, but there are many better, and cheaper choices out there. It's still not a bad choice, seeing it still has a huge user database, but I'd get something different.

If you already have a R4, and is satisfied with it, there's no reason to really buy a new one, unless the R4 breaks, or you're interested in actually having some features into games.

yes, i ordered them before, last year.... the speed is not that quick you know.

but later the service was increased a bit this year....

also they got EDGE, R4, DSTT in stock now.

My friend ordered an R4 from them, and they sent him a clone of it. However, when I ordered my R4 from them, it was legit.
