Hacking Is this MicroSD compatible and legit for backups?

First off, I apologize if this is posted in the wrong section. This is an Adata 1024gb microsd card. I'm curious if this card is legit, and if it's compatible with the Switch. I've personally never seen a card with this capacity, and I'm not sure of the brand either. Would performance be decent for backup loading? Advice or experience would be helpful

Some games require a decent write/read speed, some of them 80mb/s which is not low. You should test its speed snd report back. I would say 50mb/s or more at least

wait, it states 1024gb? Lol it's impossible, first of all >32gb cards are called microsdxc, not microsdhc, second it seems just cheap, if you already bought it and can't bring it back, just test it and hope it reaches the values i said on the other post.

Clearly fake because this is a SDHC on the picture so it wouldn't support over 32GB. It should be wrote SDXC..

On PC you will probably see as a 1024GB because of faked driver but when you will drop files on it, you will get error when you will hit the 4GB, 8GB or 16GB, maybe 32GB if lucky..

Good News! Its fake... It will appear the correct size (i.e. 1024gb) when you put it in the computer but it starts overwriting data after a certain amount (its true size) and corrupts the data. Basically its a hacked firmware on a small micro sd card. Usually they are actually 4gb to 8gb cards. Using the tool H2testw basically fills the card with blank data and tests to see if its corrupt if it is it detects the correct wrote data and gives you the correct the size of the card

There’s unfortunately a huge market for selling SD cards with false capacities. I was in Hong Kong at a street market last year and there were baskets full of fake Kingston cards. It was easy to tell they were fake because some of the packages had different looking logos for the same product lol. Always look for a reputable seller if buying on Amazon, and maybe just stay away from eBay altogether.

Just joking. But really if you going to pirate games you don't own at least give nintendo some money by buying their microsd cards and maybe they will not ban you for being a nice pirate.
